System Components
Opsys designs include a unique two-stage electro-mechanical fail-safe safety system to ensure that, even under the worst possible failure mode, the system never creates an atmosphere that is harmful to life.

All systems are supplied with a hand held calibrated oxygen analyser to allow sensor verification on a daily basis, ensuring that fire protection is never compromised. The result - a fire safe, people safe environment, guaranteed.
Every system component is geared towards long life and reliability. Compressors are industry standard for low noise and vibration, and may be located some distance away to further minimise any noise impact. The wall mounted control cabinet is specifically designed for extreme reliability and, should it ever be necessary, rapid field repair.
It provides full system status information including LCD readouts of all oxygen levels, which are available via an RS485 interface for remote logging/display or to interface with the Building Management System.
The Opsys system is also remarkably simple to install, with virtually no impact on the protected space. Pipe work required is seldom larger than 75mm, even on the largest systems, whilst smaller ones operate with pipe sizes as small as 15mm.
The only wiring to the protected space is a two wire, low voltage cable for the oxygen sensor. With Opsys, pressure relief dampers, extensive valve and pipe networks and forced extraction ducts are a thing of the past. Costs are reduced dramatically, whilst system reliability is a staggering 100% - a first for the industry.
Importantly, all Opsys equipment is manufactured and distributed within the UAE, with our customers and distributors having access to excellent aftercare services.
Advantages:
- No fires ever - guaranteed
- No need for evacuation
- Simplified installation
- Reduced footprint
- No pressure relief damping
- Reduced decay of stored materials
